Can I change what world it applies to?
Yes! You can easily reassign extra RAM to any world you own, using the in-game /worldsettings GUI.

What happens when it expires?
When your available RAM decreases, it will be unassigned from worlds, starting from the least recently updated, until it is under the new amount you have. Plan accordingly to avoid performance issues when your subscription expires! Worlds may become unstable if they exceed default RAM limits after expiration. 

Why a subscription?
RAM is a server resource that costs us money every month to provide. A subscription model lets us guarantee that extra memory will always be available for your worlds without risking having to reduce world caps when we expand to new servers.
