Command List

    The Legitimoose server has many custom commands for players and developers alike. Here you'll find a list of most currently available commands and what they do.


    Navigation

    Commands used to get around the server.

    /lobby

    Aliases: /l, /hub.

    Return to the lobby

    /play

    Open quick play.

    /create

    Open "Your Worlds".

    /browse

    Open the detailed world browser.

    /menu

    Aliases: /nav, /navigator.

    Open the navigator (AKA the original compass behavior).

    /cancel

    Aliases: /leavequeue

    Leave the queue for the world you're trying to join

    /visit <player>

    See all worlds owned by the chosen player.

    /find <player>

    Aliases: /whereis

    Find the current world that the given player is in, if they are online.

    /world <uuid>

    Immediately start/join the world with the given UUID.

    World Commands

    Commands that can only be used inside worlds. Some are usable by anyone, and some are only for the world owner.

    /admin <help|list|add|remove> [player]

    Manage world admins. World admins can use all vanilla commands, but cannot use /editor, /stopinstance, or manage admins/devs.

    Admin is below dev in the permission stack.

    /dev <help|list|add|remove> [player]

    Manage users with developer access in a world. Devs have all the permissions that admins have, in addition to being able to run /editor. If you want to give someone command access without editor access, give them admin.

    (As a reminder, anyone with the link and password can use the editor, /editor just allows people to get those themself.)

    /editor

    Aliases: /code, /vsc.

    Resend the editor link and password in chat.

    /edit <name|description|icon> <value>

    Change the name, description, or icon of the world. Players with Apprentice Moose or higher can use MiniMessage formatting in the name and description.

    /worldinfo [uuid]

    Aliases: /whereami

    Anyone can run this command. Sends a list of world information in the chat. This can be used to copy the UUID of a world conveniently.

    /vote

    Vote for a world if you like it. This moves it higher in the browser when sorting by votes. Owners cannot vote for their own worlds. Votes are permanent and irrevocable, though this system may change in the future.

    /tips

    Show a list of tips about how to use the server.

    /upgradeworld

    Transfers a jam world into a normal world slot.

    Datapack Features

    Commands that increase the capabilities of datapacks. These commands are fully featured, usable in datapacks and command blocks, with all the features you would expect of a vanilla command. Some of these commands and features are restricted to worlds owned by Full Mooses.

     

    /inventory

    Conveniently make players open all types of inventories (block, entity, enderchest)! Especially useful for creating inventory GUI systems. Requires Full Moose.

    /playerlist

    Used to edit the player list header/footer.

    /data

    Edit Player Data with /data

    Since this is non-vanilla behavior, Full Mooses can opt-in with a world setting to have editable player data! You can modify a select list of player NBT tags that allow for otherwise impossible features! The list as of writing includes:

    Chat

    Commands used for communication.

    /shout

    Broadcast a message to all players on the Legitimoose server. AM and FM get reduced cooldowns on shout usage.

    /toggleshouts

    Show or hide shouts from other players.

    Other

    Commands that don't fit in one of the above categories.

    /report <player|world|bug> [player] <reason>

    Report a player for breaking the rules. Report the world you are currently in. Report a bug.

    /fly

    Players with Apprentice Moose or higher can toggle flight with /fly in the lobby.

    /jam

    View information about previous jams or participate in the current jam.

    • /jam info [id] - Shows information about the jam corresponding to the given ID.
    • /jam join - Allows the player to participate in the current jam.
    • /jam browse [id] - Opens the navigation menu including only the jam worlds.
    • /jam list - Shows all previous/active jams in chat

    /changelog

    Show the changelog book.

    /discord

    Get a link to the Legitimoose discord.

    /store

    Aliases: /shop

    Get a link to the store.

    /rules

    Get a link to the server rules.

    /help

    Get a link to the list of commands.
