This is deranged. This is absurd. We're letting you make http requests (send data to websites, servers, and APIs over the internet). From datapacks. You could use this to make an online scoreboard, share data between worlds with an external server, or even connect to a large language model's API for immediate in-game slop generation. This is too much power for one moose to handle. Fortunately, you've got the power of 2.

(We reserve the right to revoke HTTP priveleges from anyone found to be abusing them. I know you would never do that though, don't worry.)

Larger Datapacks

Datapacks are mostly text, they can't get that big right? WRONG! FM² allows you to have up to 30MB of datapack data per world. That's 3x more!

/visibility

A brand new command, /visibility <targets> <hide|show>! It is able to hide entities completely from selected players, using packets to hide them from the client. This doesn't affect their server-side behavior at all. For example, you could show specific players information in text displays, hide players and do spooky ghost behavior, or do some shenanigans with shulker hitboxes!

Restart Worlds From Code

Use the /stopinstance command from datapacks! You can use this alongside custom dimensions to make games that easily reset or regenerate terrain.

(If your world gets stuck in a permanent stop-loop, remember you can always use /safemode <world-uuid> to start it with datapacks and command blocks disabled!)

Edit Name and Description From Code

Use /edit in your datapacks to change the world name, icon, or description dynamically! You could use this for game status indicators and information, or even show custom timed events that are happening!
